Beach Park
Yes, that’s right we have our very own Beach on Loughborough University campus! Based at Holywell Park near the Loughborough University Stadium and made with the same sand that was used for the Beach Volleyball at London 2012 Olympics, this Park is great FUN! You can play beach volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, beach rounders or any other sport or activity that can be played on the sand!
At certain times we do have programmed activity on Ball Park as part of our Recreational ‘My Activities’ timetable, but outside of these times the courts are free to use for anybody who wants to play.
There is plenty of car parking available at Holywell Park. See uploaded photo. Please check in at the gatehouse and say that you are visiting the University Stadium. The cache is adjacent to a cycle path.
