Mongo: # Understanding “Owner attention requested” logs #
In order to maintain a positive finding experience here is Missouri we need your help.
You’re receiving this email because a geocacher posted an Owner attention requested log for your geocache.
These logs are a normal—and important—part of owning a geocache. An “Owner attention requested” log is a helpful alert that your geocache may need maintenance, such as replacing the container or logbook.
When this type of log is posted, your cache page will show the “Owner maintenance icon) and attribute. To remove the icon and attribute, follow these steps:
1. Maintain your cache. Find out how.
* If your cache won’t be available to find while you repair it, temporarily disable it to remove it from the map.
2. From your cache page, select Log geocache.
3. Choose Owner maintenance as the log type. Describe what changed, then Post to remove the “Owner attention requested” attribute.
* If you temporarily disabled your cache, remember to enable it.
Your geocache has been disabled to allow you time to go out and conduct the maintenance needed.
Thank you for being a responsible cache owner and adding to the geocaching game board!
