The cache is not at the given coordinates. Or is it? Solve the puzzle below for the coordinates of the cache.
The item in the photo below may be found somewhere within one half mile of the given coordinates.
So what should you do once you find the item in the photo? Perform the following steps:
- Measure the coordinate of the item in the photo (using a GPS receiver is my preferred way of doing this). I had an 8 for the last digit of the north coordinate, and a 0 for the last digit of the west coordinate.
- Note the number on the item in the photo, in the location shown by the red X in the photo.
- Project a waypoint as follows: starting at the item in the photo, go 0.( (A*B*C) - (A*10+B) ) miles in compass heading ((C*D)+E)/2 degrees from north, where A-E are the first five digits of the number on the item.

You can check your answers for this puzzle on GeoChecker.com. I'm giving you a 25 ft. error radius since waypoint projections are not exact.
