VILLA GEOCACHING
En la época romana, las villas eran viviendas rurales cuyas edificaciones formaban el centro de una propiedad agraria. Después, se fueron conviertiendo en villas urbanas, donde residía el señor y cada vez adoptaba las formas arquitectónicas y de embellecimiento propias de las mansiones urbanas.
En la Edad Media, en las villas solían vivir los artesanos y los comerciantes, diferenciándose de los pobladores rurales. La mayoría de estas villas lograron evolucionar tanto en infraestructura como en cantidad de pobladores, hasta convertirse en ciudades.
En la actualidad, en el sur de España, en la Región de Murcia, y junto al paradisíaco Mar Menor, se encuentra la Villa de Torre-Pacheco.
Son muchos los geocachers que se acercan a la villa en busca de nuevas aventuras y asombrosos cachés. Son tantos que, en algunos rincones de la Villa de Torre-Pacheco, ya se refieren a la misma como Villa Geocaching. Algunos "buscadores de tesoros" quedan prendados de las originales construcciones y del colorido de algunas viviendas como las de este lugar.
Cuentan que algunos geocachers se han planteado establecer su hogar en la villa. Y no solo las personas, sino también sus mascotas geocacheras han encontrado un lugar donde disfrutar. Incluso animales de lo más variopintos han establecido su residencia definitiva en esta villa...

VILLA GEOCACHING
In Roman times, the villas were rural dwellings whose buildings formed the center of an agrarian property that became urban villas where the lord resided and increasingly adopted the architectural and beautifying forms of the urban mansions.
In the middle ages, craftsmen and traders used to live in villages, differing from rural dwellers. Most of these villas managed to evolve both in infrastructure and in the number of settlers to become cities.
At present, in the south of Spain, in the Region of Murcia and next to the paradisiac Mar Menor, is the Villa of Torre-Pacheco.
Many geocachers approach the village in search of new adventures and amazing caches. There are so many that in some corners of the Village of Torre-Pacheco already refer to the same as Villa Geocaching. Some "treasure hunters" are taken with the original constructions and the color of some houses like the one of this place.
Some geocachers are said to have set their home in the villa. And not only people, but also their pet geocacheras have found a place to enjoy. Even animals of the most varied have established their permanent residence in this villa ...
