T'Owd Man And His Stone Cat (REVIVED) Multi-Cache

The original cache has just been archived and it was our first find 6 years ago so I thought we would bring it back to life but make it a bit easier as some of the dates used in the original have now become unreadable. I have Ben and recovered the original cache and will post photos of its contents and logs as soon as I can 

the coordinates should take you to th cross at bonsall and just across the road near the phone box you will find T,owd man and a plaque with it which you will need to work out the coordinates for the final cache site. Also across fromT'owd man you will see the Great War memorial with names and dates also needed to complete the coordinates.

The cache is located at   N 53 AB.CDE W 001 FG.HIJ

First on the plaque under T'owd man you will find two years take the first years digits as K L M N and the second years digits as O P Q R

So the first part will be A= O-R   B= L-K   C= N-K   D= M+K   E= M+P+Q

Now to the war memorial and you will find names and dates

There are 4 years above the list of names take the 4 digits of the most recent year and the 4 digits from th oldest year and add all 8 digits together and this will give you a 2 digit number to represent FG

Next count how many names are listed on the sides with the years above them (not the 30 on the front) now subtract the smaller number from the larger to give you H

Now find STANLEY SPENCER count from the top the first name being 1 what number is STANLEY = I

Lastly find FRANK BUCKLEY and count up from the bottom on that side the bottom name being 1 what number is FRANK = J

You should now have all the numbers needed to make the coordinates for the final cache location
