W.A.R.P. 2 - Jvaris Mama Church
W.A.R.P. stands for Whisky07, AsatruDD, Rico906090 and Predator1337. Between June 26 and July 2, 2017 we came to Georgia on a mission. We wanted to be the first ones to find GC61HGH and we wanted to hide some Geocaches in the area. Before us, there were 89 caches in Georgia - after our trip there will be more than 100. We want to show some interesting spots that we visited on our trip and we also want to make geocaching a bit more interesting. So you will not only find some easy magnetic film container but you will often have to do something more for a log.
Our first stop was Tbilisi.
Jvaris-Mama - this name comes from a Georgian church in Jerusalem. On this very place there was a small temple in the 5th century which was destroyed during the Mongols invasion. The church was restored in the 16th century. During the Aga-Mohamed-Khan conquest it was repeatedly demolished. Then it was renewed in 1825. Reconstruction works are now going on.
The cache is a film container under a bench. (see spoiler).
