Geocache Description:

This series of caches is located on a pleasant walking loop between Poolsbrook and the Markham Vale reclamation site. The caches are placed just off the paths, with the permission of Chesterfield Council and Derbyshire Council. For details about the themes and history see the longer description on the first cache in the Loop: R.E.C.L.A.I.M. - 5, 6, 7, 8.

The R.E.C.L.A.I.M. series is a collection of Revamped Everyday Containers Lurking Amidst Industrial Memories, as the caches are in an area littered with signs of old railway links, mining and industrial areas, although this has now been flattened as part of the reclamation and you can see huge new buildings being created.

This bonus cache is NOT at the posted coordinates, which are overlooking a picturesque old lake near to the stream where you can see plenty of wildlife. The final cache is within 200 metres of this location so shouldn't be much of a walk.

By now you should have found the first 9 caches in the series or been able to answer the music questions for those you haven't found. There is a final tenth music question below for the bonus cache which will get you the last digit of the coordinates. These digits will help you work out the location of this final bonus track cache, which is situated at:

N 53° AB.CDE W 1° FG. HIJ

The cache is a small container with log sheet and pencil, situated just off one of the paths. It is at ground level but you may have to reach for it, avoiding branches.

First To Find honours:
Making it first through this playlist, DrunkNinjaHippo and Alfreton Divers made a joint first-to-find on this one so were first to claim (or should that be reclaim) the bonus track FTF souvenir.

Bonus Cache Music Question:
Many artists have done megamixes over the years, usually years after the original tracks have been out or there has been a 'best of' album. Some of the well known ones there have been are the Boney M megamix, the Snap! megamix, the Jive Bunny megamix and the Grease megamix.
The Grease megamix was released in 1990 to celebrate the release of the film on video, and contained the 3 key songs of You're The One That I want, Greased Lightnin' and which other hit?

  • We Go Together (J=6)
  • Look At Me, I'm Sandra Dee (J=8)
  • Hopelessly Devoted To You (J=5)
  • Summer Nights (J=2)

After finding all the caches there is just a short walk back to the start of the loop. From the posted coordinates for this bonus cache (by the lake) continue the way you were going along the path, heading south west. This takes you over a narrow bridge over the stream, then straight on through a gate, over the old railway line and through the gate on the opposite side. This path takes a sharp left and goes alongside the fence (rather than scrambling back up the steep slope to the path which is not recommended) and this comes back to where the trailhead started after 30 metres or so. From here it is a right turn back up to the path which goes round the 'square' hill, and left (clockwise) around this path back to the small fishing lake next to Erin Road again.
