Geocache Description:

There is a new souvenir to be earned this summer! Attend an event either July 15th or 16th and you will have earned one

Check your e-mails from Geocaching HQ to learn more about this souvenir and others you can earn - The Lost Treasures of Mary Hyde.

There is a rumour that Captain Mary Hyde and her ship, The Golden Cache, has been seen bouncing around on Manitou Lake! Could there be some lost treasures floating on the waters? Arrr you up to find out?

Please come join us for a hour on Saturday morning for a "MEET & GREET", we can discuss this legend and all other things geocaching!

WHERE: SITE 144

MANITOU & DISTRICT REGIONAL PARK

I talked to the park operator and if you leave your vehicle outside of the park and "Walk In", you won't be charged the $5 daily entry fee! Find us in SITE 144 (by the seasonal sites) at the Manitou Regional Park. (we are attending our Prairie Egg Gathering this weekend!)
