The cache takes its name from the English Christmas carol The Twelve Days of Christmas, which includes the words:
On the Third day of Christmas my true love sent to me
Three French Hens,
Two Turtle Doves,
and a Partridge in a Pear Tree.
Blind Freddie would be able to see GZ. This is a Large-size, French-themed cache. There is space for a log, a pen and pencil, and a huge amount of swag, and larger, or unusually shaped TBs. Please remember the geocaching etiquette of replacing swag with something of equal or greater value. A FTF prize awaits someone.
There is plenty of roadside parking space here. This road is busy. Please be mindful of traffic and be safe. I think it would be foolish to drive cross country to GZ. Just to be on the safe side, look out for snakes.
After hiding a series of fifteen caches in the Exford Trios series it’s now time for me to take a break. I thank Bunjil for his advice, all the cachers who told me when my coordinates were wrong, and all the cachers who have told me they have enjoyed the Exford Trios series. It's been a treat for me to make and hide them for you.
Congratulations to vacachin for being FTF
Three cheers for geocaching!
