Geocache Description:

A Park and Grab at the northern end of a 2 mile long linear park in Wallingford.

Fireworks Island was created in the 1800's when a canal was dug alongside the Quinnipiac River.  For many years, Connecticut's largest fireworks manufacturer was located on the island.  Today, following the construction of two bridges, this island is part of a linear park that runs approximately north-south in Wallingford.

You're looking for a bison tube in the parking lot.  The driveway and the bridge leading to the parking lot are a bit long, so I set a Trailhead waypoint on Route 150.  I also marked the far end of the trail as a waypoint.  This is a very nice, paved trail for walking or biking.
