The Hike
Estimated: 9km return, 3-4 hours with a 500m elevation climb.
Stick to the paths which are indicated with yellow markers. Be sure to pack water, food and bring a mobile phone in case of emergency. The wind chill factor at GZ is high, so dress accordingly.
Make your way to Rosea Carpark where you will find the trailhead of Mt Rosea Track which makes it's way up to Mount Rosea. The walk starts off as gentle incline through woodlands, to climbing the summits of wind shaped rocks and stunning surrounds. Be mindful of the massive cliff face at points beside you as you track your way up the hill. The walk is a fairly popular walk, and doesn't have any crazy terrain, however enough to warrant a challenging hike.
