Speed Limit 25 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

JoesBar: I read that two folks DNF this yesterday. I had some time and checked today. Sure enough, it was gone. I expanded my search too. Since this had a nice run of almost four years, I decided to just archive it. Thanks to all those who came out to hunt.

Geocache Description:

There is a pull off very near the cache.  During Winter, it may not be advisable.  Please take a few moments to cover the cache with some of the abundant natural material lying about.

Congratulations RadishSpirit for being FTF!

I was going to name this cache St. Clair # 1.  Since you approach this cache from St. Clair St.  Which got me wondering if stretch of road was originally a main east / west route, but cut to pieces when the highway was constructed.  St. Clair Ave begins near the Cuyahoga River at W. 10 Ave and Old River Road.  Currently, it runs east to Babbitt Road and ends.  But I've noticed other streets named St. Clair farther east.  There is a St. Clair Rd in Painesville.  I have yet to find maps showing its original route.  Anyway, I placed this cache hoping it resides along an early road in the Western Reserve.
