* Please BYOP * You are looking for a small bison tube.

Coderre is one of the many towns in southern Saskatchewan established by Francophone settlers.

In 1910, a number of families from Quebec settled at the location that would become Coderre, thanks to  Catholic colonizing missionaries. The village was named in honor of Eudore Coderre, its first postmaster.

One of the best-known people from Coderre is undoubtedly Lionel Coderre, MLA and Minister in the Thatcher Cabinet from 1964 to 1971.

Today, a hundred people still reside in the Coderre region, but there is not much left of the institutions that used to be there.
