Our 10th geocache is hidden in honor of a very important birthday milestone for one very important person!! This cache is at the beginning of a private hike that is near and dear to the celebrated honoree. The cache is hidden on private land with land owner's permission. Depending on the weather, you may pull up to and park at the gate. Or you can pull off to the side of the road. Cache could be considered a park and grab. There is no need to go beyond the gate and land owners ask that you observe the posted signs. There is no bushwhacking involved. Cache is a large, long, plastic, container with a screw top lid.
Hopefully, we got a decent GPS reading. But... being in the Adirondacks... that is sometimes tricky. If you can find the road, and then find the pull off for the private trail and the gate, geosense and the hint should allow you to easily make the find. Finding the road that the geocache is on, should be harder than finding this cache. (You cannot access this cache from parking on Guide Board Road)
