The event will be held on the food court of the Circle Center Mall from 10 to 10:30 AM. The food court is located on the third level near Carsons and the mall opens at 10 AM. A map can be found here. The food court will be very busy later in the day which is why this quick meet up is happening in the morning. Plus people probably have busy schedules.
So come meet some fellow cachers who are in town. There are plenty of food and drink options available in the food court if you wish.
We will at one of the groups of the tables and will have the geocaching logo visible so you can spot us. More details to follow about specifics and how to find everyone when you arrive.
Free parking will be an issue due to the proximity of the convention center since both the GEN CON four day passes and the Saturday pass sold out this year. Therefore Saturday will be a big day and people going to the con will be using most of the parking in the area around the convention center. The nearest available street parking may be several blocks away.
There will be plenty of pay lots available in the area including one at the mall (see the map on the link). We had good luck last year with parking near the Lucas Oil Stadium at N 39 45.420 W 86 09.837. However, I don’t know if that will be the case this year and I am not promoting this parking lot, but just pointing it out as an option.
