Geocache Description:

In old days, Shakubetsu station was a hub of coal transportation from Shakubetsu Coal Mine, that had been closed in 1970. Here is known as a location of the movie, “HANAMIZUKI”. The house, that was used for the movie, is stored and shown in summer. At the garden of the house, there is a hand-made panel, is shaped fishing boat named “KOEIMARU”. Please bring your pen.

1970年に閉山した尺別炭鉱からの石炭は、ここ尺別駅を通過して運ばれました。また、一青窈の歌が題材となった映画「ハナミズキ」(2010年公開)のロケ地としても知られており、その家は、保存され一部公開されています。その庭には主人公が乗った漁船の名前と形をなぞった手作りのパネルがあります。その船の名前が康永丸です。筆記具を持参ください。
