Are you up for a bit of fun in the middle of Ocala National Forest? Help the Forest Minions get ready for Florida Finders Fest 2017. We have lost some important items and need help finding them. We will all meet up at the posted co-ords at 8am for some mingling, schmoozing. Instructions and scavenger hunt lists will be handed out. Please remember your pokey sticks, sunscreen, and bug spray. We will have bottled water available.
8:00am to 8:30am: Meet, mingle, and schmooze with fellow Geocachers. Pick your scavenger hunt list. You can do this solo, with a partner, or a small group.
8:30am to 11:00am: Enjoy trekking through this beautiful forest while seeking out much needed supplies for the Forest Minions. If you complete your list early, take advantage of the extra time to find some of the cool caches in the area. We recommend bringing tools for cutting thin cable, as these might come in handy.
11:00am to 1:00pm: Meet at N 29° 21.537 W 081° 44.149 to turn in your scavenger hunt list and items for a prize. Spend some time sharing stories with local cachers from near and far. There is a great local eatery here if all your hard work geared up your appetite.
