Macuco (nome científico: Tinamus solitarius) é uma ave sul-americana de grande porte da família dos Tinamidae. Tais aves chegam a medir até 48 centímetros de comprimento. Têm o dorso pardo-azeitonado e ventre cinza-claro. É uma ave que habita a mata primária, percorrendo o solo da floresta, inclusive em áreas acidentadas e de difícil acesso. Alimenta-se de sementes, bagas e frutas. Sempre próximo a pequenos riachos ou nascentes.

Macuco (scientific name: Tinamus solitarius) is a South American bird of large family of Tinamidae. Such birds arrive to measure up to 48 centimeters long. They have brown-olive back and light gray belly. It is a bird that inhabits primary forest, covering the forest floor, even in hilly areas and difficult to access. It feeds on seeds, berries and fruits. Always near small streams or springs.
