Geocache Description:

A cache placed on Kinver Edge in South Stafforshire. Kinver Edge is a remnant of the Mercian forest, although much planting dates from post-1945.

Placed with kind permission from the National Trust.

Kinver Edge is situated to the east of the Severn Valley, and is in the South Staffordshire / Wyre Forest Districts. It is situated in green belt land, and is at the very edge of the urban metropolitan West Midlands. Kinver Edge rises to 164 metres above sea level at the summit, and provides views to the Clent Hills, Shatterford Hill, Dudley, Wenlock Edge, Malvern Hills and the Shropsire Hills. From this particular cache on a clear day, you will be able to see Clee Hill. There is also a convinient place to sit and admire the view. You are looking for a small, clear, plastic container that contains a logbook and a small pencil. There is also room for some small swaps and TB's. Please cover well when rehiding.
