It's a Sunday. It's probably going to be hot out. Why not take a break from geocaching and eat?
DATE: Sunday August 6
TIME: 1:00 - 2:00 PM (or longer)
LOCATION: El Mirador Restaurant
124 1st Street, Elizabeth NJ
I have to say that Elizabeth is a city, so you will have to find parking on the street nearby. It is free on Sundays.
It is also a day to celebrate the following things:
1. Root Beer Floats. Not sure if this restaurant carries root beer or ice cream, but you never know.
2. Fresh Breath. You may not have it after eating, but maybe you will when you walk in.
3. Wiggling your toes. Maybe you will have sandals on. Depends how you like to cache.
4. Families. Bring them along!
5. Sisters. I don't have any biological sisters, but I guess stepsisters can be celebrated too!
6. Friendship. Celebrate it with geofriends!
7. Alfred Tennyson. It's his birthday, so you can celebrate with your light brigade. Born in 1809.
8. Lucille Ball. Her birthday as well. She would be 106.
9. Alexander Fleming. It is his birthday, and without him, penicillin would not have been discovered. Thank you Mr. Fleming!
10. Any milestones that people may have reached. We are a supportive bunch, right?!
