Find your way towards your next exciting catch in surprising historical site of Bucharest: the former Luther Beer Factory, known as Grivița Beer Factory, one of the first reinforced concrete industrial buildings in Europe. German engineers, using Monier’s engineering findings, have built a beautiful and avant-garde 19th century factory that is now on its way to be restored and converted in a beautiful “urban re-generation” project.
Back in the days, Luther Beer Factory was the official supplier of the Royal House of Romania, the last royal house in Eastern Europe to fall after the second World War. Incredible architecture and energy awaits you. Beware, it is yet not prepared for visitors, so you are up for an adventure. Găsește drumul către următoarea captură, într-unul dintre cele mai interesante situri istorice ale Bucureștiului: fosta fabrică de bere Luther, cunoscută drept Fabrica de Bere Grivița, printre primele construite pe structură metalică din Europa. Ingineri germani, care au folosit metoda structurilor metalice patentată de Monier, au construit la final de secol 19 o fabrică care la vremea respectivă a fost un proiect de avantgardă. Pe vremuri fabrica Luther era furnizor oficial al Casei Regale a României, ultima casă regală din Estul Europei care a pierdut tronul. În curând clădirile care au supraviețuit – Mălțăria, Orzăria și fosta casa Luther – vor fi restaurate, convertite și integrate într-un nou proiect de regenerare urbană. Arhitectura de final de secol 19, început de secol 20, dar și o energie aparte a locului, te așteaptă. Atenție, situl nu este securizat pentru vizitatori, așa că te vei îmbarca într-o aventură. HISTORY.MADE.TOGETHER de către oameni, pentru oameni, arc peste timp, de îndată ce viitoarea Fostă Fabrică va primi o nouă șansă la istorie.
