Our caching friend, Bearded Beast, thought it would be fun to hold 31 Events of August, a month filled with daily events all within the nation’s smallest state. After moving to Woonsocket, RI, 20 years ago, we were excited to try out the different restaurants in the area. The Beef Barn quickly became one of our favorites. Their roast beef sandwiches are the best in the area and who can resist eating dinner in a chicken coop or a barn silo?!? Our daughter turned 25 this week and we have been reminiscing about old times. When she was very young, she called it the Pickle Place because they had tins of dill pickle spears on all the tables. They were yummy! No one is obligated to purchase anything from this establishment. Join us from 6:30-7:30 at 1 Greenville Rd., in N.Smithfield. It's not Woonsocket but its literally right across the street!
