Geocache Description:

Splitrock Cache

It's about a 2 mile hike from the road. Most of the trail is in good shape. Fair warning is given that near the cache it is going to be difficult to cross the stream, there might be an easy crossing I don't know about tho. It's a heavy elevation gain from the road too. Parking is available in the Horton Creek Picnic area.

You should be able to see the caches namesake within 20'. The name says it all, shouldn;t be hard to figure out.

This is another of my pint-can caches. I suggest you take items at least as small as a golf ball to leave.

It has been noted that folks find my can caches packed and have nothing small enough to leave in them. Should this occur you have full permission to PLEASE TAKE SOMETHING, or the next person along will most likely endure the same trouble of finding the cache crammed to overflowing. There is no worry of the cans ending up empty since I have noticed over the past year folks have left things far more often than they removed them. So long as 4-5 items remain in the caches they should be safe. Thank you.
