Enjoy a 6km round trip paddle around Sunny Lake while finding all 7 caches in our Sunny Lake series! Launch your watercraft (canoe, kayak, or small motor boat) at the public boat launch at the north end of the lake (see waypoint). You will need to exit your craft to find this cache. Sturdy footwear is recommended as there is some climbing. Although there may not be any precious gems inside the cache, we think each of the locations is a true gem! Enjoy the series!
To find the BONUS cache, note the number and colour on the popsicle stick inside each cache in the series. The final is at:
N 44 54.(Amethyst)(Peridot)(Emerald)
W 79 17.(Topaz)(Sapphire)(Ruby)
ADD .009 to the final's North minutes and SUBTRACT .009 from the final's West minutes for a suggested landing area.
