A Malaysian favourite for beating the unbearably blazing sun: cendol. When paired with rojak these two make an irreplaceable pair that is a suitable snack or meal on any day of the year.
Why not combine the two in one shop?
Yes, this is mamak cendol. Located opposite of LRT Taman Bahagia and as well as beside SK Maju, this small business is popular among those who live and work nearby. You can see working people stopping by here for lunch, as well as students of SMK Taman SEA coming here to have a drink.
I've had extremely fond memories of this place: thus I need to mark it with a Geocache. I spent my high school years road cycling, and every now and then I would stop by here and take a quick break from pedalling around the streets. The sweetness of cendol quenched my thirst after hours of cycling under the hot sun, and the taste of rojak kept my energy and spirit going to carry on the journey.
Memory Lane - Mamak Cendol
Hint: WXYZ
WXYZ are individual numbers. Find it out.
W - Last number of the 5 digit number on the street road number closest to the shrine.
X - Double the number of seesaws in the park
Y - Take the street number between the park and SK Maju. Add the 2 numbers together and add 1 to the total.
Z - The last digit of the station code for the LRT Station across the street.
These 4 digits make up the final hint that you will notice around the park.
