Wildflowers Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: Hi There

As the owner has not responded to either my log or my colleague's previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it.

Please note that once the cache has been archived, this can not be undone. This is explained in the Help Center - http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70

You will need to create a new listing, put it back in for review and as long as it meets today's guidelines and no other caches have been published in the area causing a proximity problem, then it will be published.

Regards

Geocache Description:

This geocache is located in a quiet cul-de-sac opposite Headstone Manor Recreation Ground. Small sized cache about 12cm tall by 5cm diameter, covered in camouflage tape.

Located in the corner of a quiet cul-de-sac, where Mummy (of Mummy and Theo) grew up, and spent as much of each day as possible playing outside with her friends! The cache itself is a small sized pot about 12cm tall and 5cm in diameter which is covered in camouflage tape. There is a badge for the FTF and some swappables for later cachers! Please be careful when looking for the cache because, as the name suggests, there are sometimes wildflowers growing at ground zero!
Over the main road is Headstone Manor Recreation Ground, which gets its name from Headstone Manor; a moated manor house dating back to the 15th century. In the grounds are also a tithe barn, small barn and a granary building which is open as a museum and tea shop. The park also has a play area and pitches for football, cricket etc. and hosts the annual Harrow Show held every August bank holiday. Access to the carpark is on Headstone Lane, opposite Holmdene Avenue where the cache is located.
