Enjoy this newly opened, June 29, 2017, rail trail which runs from Tillsonburg in Oxford County to Hawtrey in Norfolk County.
If you wish to continue on and join up to with the Delhi Rail Trail travelling to Simcoe, which then hooks up to the trail to either Waterford or Port Dover, you must do so by road.
On this trail you willl see lovely farm land and depending on the time of year many varieties of flora, fauna, butterflies and insects.
Please watch out for poison ivy and nettles, we tried to avoid them as much as possible when placing the caches but this seemed a difficult task. Our suggestion would be to wear long pants and be wary.
This will be the first installment of caches on this trail system with more to follow in the future
We didn't encounter any ticks on our travels but it would be best to take precautions as they are definitely in our area.
We have placed a variety of hides and D/T's for everyone to enjoy!!! Have fun and stay safe!!
