The Chiques Day Use Park is pretty much filled with caches although if you don't do mysteries, you don't know where they are. This container is safely out of the creek but not by much. It's at trail level not creek level. Carefully step over and duck under fallen trees to get to groundzero. I placed it in early August in shorts and sandals and didn't get a a scratch or pick up unintended critters. Note that the area changed drastically in the August 31, 2018 flood; substantial trees were washed away. The cache had been under some sticks. That container disappeared. The current container has room for small trackables, but the container is transparent, so I'd be wary of dropping anything here. Please tuck it away from prying eyes after signing the log.
