Brothers Duncan and Angus Matheson came to Omaha in 1859. They sailed on the 'Spray', the fourth and smallest of the ships that left Nova Scotia with Highland Scot settlers who ended up at Waipu in Northland. The Matheson brothers settled and built houses each side of the Koheroa creek. In partnership they commenced ship building on the beach just below their houses. Their business was a continuation of their operation at Baddeck in Nova Scotia.
The cache is located at a lookout point at Matheson Bay. It is near an old anchor that was recoverd from this bay. The cache is a small tinplease place it in exactly the same position you found it. Although there’s usually not many muggles around GZ, please still be stealthy and BYOP.
