Celebrate International Geocaching Day 2017 with SOGeo in Lithia Park!
Every year, the third Saturday in August is celebrated as International Geocaching Day, and this year it falls on Saturday, August 19th. Let's get together in beautiful Lithia Park and share some stories about our caching travels and where they've taken us! We encourage everyone to bring a fun International Finger Food dish to share with everyone (not required of course, but encouraged). Socks and Amanda will be sure to have something yummy to share with the group!
Gather in Lithia Park at the Hillside location (parking nearby, check the waypoint)
Saturday, August 19th, from 9am to 11am
Meet and Greet with fellow cachers
Share some stories about where caching has taken us
From sea to shining sea, spanning different oceans and continents!
Munch on some delicious International Finger Foods
We encourage everyone to bring a fun dish to share!
Lithia Park is a beautiful setting to get together and enjoy the morning. We are aiming to try and beat the heat by meeting early-ish. Cachers are encouraged to wander the park and take in the beautiful scenery, from the Japanese Gardens to the Fairy Ponds, an everything in between. Lithia is one of our favorite parks to explore and we hope you all enjoy it as much as we do! We look forward to seeing everyone!!
