Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast (GSWISE) is more than 37,100 strong – serving 29,200 girls in grades K5-12 and 7,900 adults who believe in our mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character, and take the lead in making the world a better place. Girl Scouts is a G.I.R.L. (go-getter, innovator, risk-taker, leader) ™ community focused on practicing everyday leadership.
Prairie Hill Day Camp is a community camp where teen-aged program assistants (PAs) guide campers side by side with adult volunteers. We offer a program of learning skills. Your girl will learn things such as fire building, team building, public speaking and performing, first aid, archery, cooking, canoeing, knot tying and lacing. These activities are age appropriate with positive and progressive reinforcement as they advance each camp year.
Gadget caches are easy to locate, but hard to get into. You will have to discover the trick to unlock the geocache container and logbook. There is an unactivated FTF geocoin as a reward for the lucky geocacher that is the FTF on our first gadget cache! ** Congratulations to Moonerd and Moonerd's Mom for the FTF!
The cache owners have recently began to lead a Geocaching Unit at Prairie Hill and this unique cache was the first gadget cache to be beta-tested in 2017. The girls LOVED it so we decided to pursue placing it as an official geocache as soon as possible. It is our hope that our camp experience will continue to help us create new and interesting gadget caches to share with the larger geocaching community each year.
Thanks to Lori Kasum for giving us permission to place this cache. PLEASE be respectful, this is a place of business, make every effort not to interrupt normal business activity.
