We came across a family walking on a dusty road. On enquiring where they are off to, they replied that they were on their way to visit some friends another 2kms away! Skattie offered them a lift. Apparently, they often do this and the entire journey usually takes them 3hrs of walking! We fell in love with this area, hence Skattie's new cache aptly named "Walked to friends". I also noticed a number of these white sparkling stones in this area, thus decided on the name "Quarts." It is a long drive out, but the scenery makes it worth it.
