A short stroll through the park neighboring the Vista Civic Center.
In 2006 voters approved Proposition L which raised the city's sales tax by 0.5% in order to fund the re-opening of two community policing stations, the construction of two new fire stations, the remodel of a third fire station, the sports park on Bobier Drive, a new stage house for the Moonlight Amphitheater, and the civic center complex you are standing in. Construction broke ground in August 2008 and the complex opened two years later.
