This cache takes you to near the confluence of Line Creek with the Elk River where you can enjoy free camping and beautiful riverside access. Make sure to read the information card in the cache box to learn about what is being done by local coalmines to treat the water that is entering the Elk River!
The cache is medium sized and in a clear Tupperware container. In the cache you will find an information card, stickers, pencils, and a logbook, but you might want to bring a piece of paper to write some things down!
This geocache is part of a series of geocaches that will take you along the Elk River; from where it begins frozen in glaciers, high up at Elk Lakes Provincial Park, to it's final destination at Lake Koocanusa.
