FF8 - Big Mac Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

onecrazycanadian: Hi,

The low health score on this cache has remained below 60 since our last contact. I see no sign of any maintenance being done to correct this and I have had no response from the owner since my last contact. Due to the lack of response I have no idea if any corrective action has been taken. Consequently I am archiving the cache at this time. If the owner does happen to complete the maintenance required and wish to activate the cache again just let me know and I will consider unarchiving it once the issue is resolved.

Thanks

Geocache Description:

The year 2017 marks the debut of Fudgy Fest Ate!

Fudgy Fest celebrates my favourite cacher: el_fudgeeo!

El_fudgeeo started this as a way to give back to the caching community for all the caches that have been hidden in and around Saskatoon. So thanks - even for the ones I can't find. These caches get published on one special day of the year - can you guess what makes it special?

When I was but a wee lad, my Dad took me to McDonalds in Winnipeg for a special treat. This was way back when they had the lettuce, cheese, pickles etc jingle!

Ronald McDonald House is a charity that started back in 1974 and now has houses in 64 (and counting) countries. The first Canadian RMH opened in 1981 in Toronto. Saskatoon got its RMH shortly after in 1985, and hosts over 650 families each year! It originally had a solarium / atrium area off the back of the house, but that was removed, and the facility was expanded to be almost triple its original size.

When the McDonalds restaurant chain holds McHappy days, they donate $1 for each sandwich sold. Also, for each Happy Meal sold every day, they donate and additional 10 cents to RMH. That really adds up over the year!
