Jack Sparrow was a legendary pirate of the Seven Seas, and the irreverent trickster of the Caribbean. A captain of equally dubious morality and sobriety, a master of self-promotion and self-interest. Jack's first love was the sea, his second, his beloved ship the Black Pearl.
Some tales of Jack's exploits were exaggerations, or even fabrications, but one tale that is true was that of the treasure he collected. Find his treasure and you can share in the spoils of this legendary pirate!
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- THE POSTED COORDINATES ARE NOT CORRECT. THEY ARE MERELY A STARTING POINT FOR YOUR ADVENTURE!
- This cache is designed to be completed at night!
- Bring a good flashlight. (NOT your phone)
- As you walk to the posted coords, you pass the ships of the famous "Pygmy Pirates". Be careful not to draw attention to yourself, they will want to steal the booty.
- Per the Moore Parks Dept, the park hours are now 6am - midnight..
- For best results, keep your flashlight at eye level. This will enable you to see the tacks easier.
- When you see a triangle of tacks, you have reached Capt Sparrow's lost treasure. There's plenty of swag to start!
- Last but not least, please ensure you cover the ammo can back up when you are done. We don't want any muggle pirates finding it!
***Congrats to KingBrian82 for being the first scallywag to complete this night cache and earning the limited edition Lost Treasure of Mary Hyde Micro Geocoin as his well-deserved prize!***
