A cache on the great trail system of
Coxcomb Hill.
There are many ways to hike to the
cache site, including from the Astoria Column, from Clatsop Community College,
or from Irving Avenue on any of several trailheads. A good choice from
Irving:

Further east on Irving, the Cathedral
Tree Trailhead will connect also.
The cache is at a dramatic forest
crossroads of four trails (one of which quickly rejoins another). Use the
hint to make the find easier!
Crossroads have many mythological
associations and a deep connection to the distant past. Read more

The site of this cache certainly features a mythical atmosphere!
Not far to the SW(?) you will find
the remains of an ancient wood bridge.
