Brookland is an A-W-E-S-O-M-E neighborhood so take the time to explore while you're caching! You can check out what the artists are up to at the Arts Walk, wander over to Catholic University and the National Basilica, do a mini hike at Fort Bunker Hill Park for some Civil War history, wander the gardens at the Franciscan Monastery, or bring the kiddos to Turkey Thicket to run around a great playground (and spray park).
Located near the Brookland-CUA metro stop, many bus lines, and nearby parking, this cache has a ton of transportation options.
The cache is a green bison tube. The original container was a plastic tube that mini M&Ms come in, covered with two dark green Official Geocache stickers. Some cachers have found the original container that we thought was lost, while others have found the newer green bison. You should be able to find one or the other. Be sure to bring your own pen.
