Fifth Avenue is a major thoroughfare in the borough of Manhattan in New York City, United States. It stretches from West 143rd Street in Harlem to Washington Square North at Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village. It is considered among the most expensive and best shopping streets in the world. The cache is not located on Fifth Avenue in New York City but on a street with a very similar name in a peaceful area. You are in the little town of Grimsby, Ontario.
I walk this area daily with my dog Skor. On a particular walk I realized that there is no cache here & decided to place one. My daughter gave me a DAVIDs TEA sweet indulgence package for Christmas & I have wanted to use one of the round metal tea containers for a cache container. Strawberry rhubarb parfait tea was in this container so you may smell that scent when finding the cache. You are in the area of Historic Grimsby Beach. Explore around the neighbouring streets such as Fair Avenue & Auditorium Circle to view the coloured "painted ladies" cottages. This area was once a methodist camp in the 1800's. There is alot of history in this area.
This will be an easy park and grab. Please remember to screw cache container back in place once signing the log. Please be considerate where you park here to the neighbouring homeowners. The cache requires you to bring your own writing instrument. Take time to view Lake Ontario at this pretty little spot.
