Bisericani este un sat in comuna Lupeni, judetul Harghita, Transilvania, Romania.
[RO] În timpul năvălirii tătarilor din sec. al XIII-lea, puțina populație din Bisericani s-a adăpostit departe de marginea satului, în zona muntoasă, unde stăteau perioade mai îndelungate.
Legea din 1876 dispune desființarea regiunilor autonome, în locul lor, țara divizându-se în județe. Din sate s-au format comune mici sau mari, după mărimea și extinderea lor, fiind obligați să aibă fiecare o primărie. Bisericani, comună mică, era situată la marginea localității, respectiv la colțul străzilor Szente și Pakoth. Lângă fântâna cea mare, s-a construit clădirea primăriei, care mai târziu a devenit sediul jandarmeriei.
Primul război mondial nu a ocolit nici comuna Bisericani. În toamna anului 1916, aproape 3 săptămâni a ținut frontul peste sat, datorită capacității de apărare conferite de dealuri.
Biserica romano-catolică ce datează din sec. al-XIII-lea este la marginea satului iar despre aceasta nu am gasit date privind aceasta biserica . Datele privind istoria biserici cu siguranta au fost pierdute de-a lungul timpului.

The law of 1876 provides for the abolition of the autonomous regions, in their place, the country being divided into counties. Small or large communal villages have been formed, according to their size and extension, each being obliged to have a town hall. Churchi, a small community, was situated on the outskirts of the town, namely at the corner of the Szente and Pakoth streets. Near the big fountain was built the town hall building, which later became the headquarters of the gendarmerie.
The First World War did not bypass the village of Bisericani either. In the autumn of 1916, for almost three weeks, he held the front over the village, due to the hill's defense capability.
The Roman Catholic Church dating from the 19th century. The 13th century is at the edge of the village, and we have not found data on this church about it. Church history data has certainly been lost over time.
