Driving along highway 133 near turn off to Redstone you see a row of over 20 brick ovens at the side of the road.Stop and investigate them.

In 1902 around 200 coking ovens were firing at Redstone turning coal into Coke. John Cleveland Osgood owned everything, Coke oven operation, the coal mine the Redstone in and more than 80 houses built for his workers along Redstone Boulevard. But by 1910 the mine closed and village boarded up.
