Foreseeing the destruction of Camelot, the wizard Merlin, traveling backwards through time, searched for a way to save the kingdom. Journeying across hundreds of years, Merlin arrived in the dark ages. There he found Woodhenge, an ancient circle where the druids gathered. As Merlin entered the circle, the sky darkened and lightning flashed. The druids began to chant an ancient prophecy:
“A once and future king shall come. Born not of noble blood, but of noble heart, he shall be the great ruler of this land. He will lead with justice and mercy. In place of this circle, a round table shall be formed, a symbol of the united kingdom."
After the vision ended, a light came down and Merlin was filled with magic. He knew he must return to find the king.
