Geocache Description:

The cache is located at the corner of Pinchas Rozen street and Wallenberg, in station 21533, which serves lines 33, 40, and 42. Near the Dan garage.

עד מלחמת השחרור לא היו כמעט שכונות מעבר לירקון, באדמות אלו שלט השבט הבדואי אבו כישכ

וכפר הערבי שייח מונאיס. ב-1933 קנו כמה סוחרי קרקע אדמות מהשבט

ונתנו לחברת יד המעביר לבנות עליהם .ב-1945 התאחדו חברת יד המעביר

וחברת איחוד רגב ונוצרה חברת דן. תמורת מגרשים בתל-אביב קיבלו

רשות להקים פה את מוסך דן, בין הרחובות פנחס רוזן ולברג ומשמר הירדן, כמו כן

הוקמה שכונת מגורים שרוב תושביה חברי דן. שכונה עם בתים בעלי קומה אחת ברובם. ב-1957 התפרקה יד המעביר

והבתים עברו לידי המשתכנים. כיום הקירבה להדר-יוסף ומרכז ההיי-טק עשה לשכונה ביקוש רב
