This is a twist on the popular Post Office Box (P.O. Box) series. This one though is a Mausoleum Office Box (M.O. Box). I finally explored these mausoleums for the first time and was amazed at how beautiful they are.
Please read below on how to apply the set of three numbers for the cache. (Grid,Row,Column)
Grid:
When you enter the mausoleum you will see plaques on the walls with the names of those entombed inside. For the purposes of this geocache, the Grid refers to a group of these plaques that is on its own separate wall.
The Grid name is determined by the last name on the plaque in the upper LEFT hand corner of the Grid. Find the plaque that matches the Grid name and you are standing in front of the Grid you need to use.
A Grid has rows of boxes that run from left to right and columns that run from top to bottom.
Row:
Starting at the upper left corner of the Grid and counting from top to bottom, the top Row is 1 the next Row down is 2 and continuing on to the bottom of the Grid.
Column:
Starting at the upper left corner of the Grid and counting from left to right, the leftmost column of plaques is Column 1; the next column of plaques to the right is Column 2 and continuing on to the right of the Grid.
The Puzzle:
The posted hours for entrance to the mausoleums is 8AM-5PM daily. Only visit during the posted hours otherwise you will be locked out. I would advise showing up at least 1 hour before closing time.
Also, remember to always be respectful especially if you encounter other people during your visit. None of the grids you are looking for will be in the mass room of either mausoleum. While you may go there and pay your respects, you do not need to for this geocache.
