Sears house of Standard Addition Mystery Cache

This is a cache I made to teach about the historical Sears homes in Carlinville's Standard Addition neighborhood. There are 9 different styles here. Many have had additions over the years and all had slight modifications from the catalog picture and floor plans.There were 8 full blocks of 18 houses and 1 partial block with just 12. Of the original 156 houses 149 are still standing and this is the largest contiguous collection of Sears houses anywhere.

The posted coordinates start you a few feet south from 1 of the 2 small signs directing you towards the Sears homes historical district. The other way points are vitual stages with visual clues to help with the actual cache coordinates. You can physically drive by or virtually drive with Google maps and find the house numbers which will help with the clues.

The actual coordinates are N ABº CD.EFG'  & W HIº JK.LMN'

At the Carlin you will use the last 2 numbers for A & B

At the Lebanon you will use the last 2 numbers for C & G

At the Madelia you will use the last number for D

At the Roselia you will use the last 2 number E & F

At the Roseberry you will use the last number for H

At the Langston you will use the last number for I

At the Gladstone you will use the last 2 numbers for K & J

At the Warrenton you will use the last 2 numbers for M & L

At the Whitehall you will use the last number for N

With all the numbers plugged in you will be at the proper coordinates with a checksum of 69 looking for the cache and hopefully learned a little about our neighborhood. Permission for the private property has been given from dusk til dawn.
