Sweet and Simple Traditional Cache

One of a small trail of caches along a beautiful stretch of the Shropshire Union Canal. This usually peaceful area is great for walks with a wide grassy towpath and sweeping views to the Wrekin standing 1,335ft over the North Shropshire plain. You could include the Wharf Wander and Canal Walk series to extend your walk.

Watch out for the heron and the ever hungry 🦆 !

This cache is just beyond bridge 49 from Park Heath road bridge or approaching bridge 49 from Goldstone. You are looking for a small film canister

Beware of fishing muggles at the weekend, it can get busy between 9 and 3 if there is a club using this stretch for a competition.
