First of all, to be absolutely clear: Please do not log this cache if you do not visit the location. Past visits do not count.
The coordinates take you to a statue erected in honor of Bosco, the mayor of Sunol from 1981 - 1994. Bosco was internationally famous, and a bar/restaurant just across the street is dedicated to him.
I don't want to say too much and ruin any surprise, so to log this cache, send me the answers to the following:
- What was Bosco's last name? (Yes, he had a real last name. No, it cannot be determined from information at the location. You'll have to do a bit of research, or ask at the place across the road.)
- To Bosco's left is a brick with text on it that is a little ways from the others. It honors a "SUNOLIAN SINCE 1960." What is the name on the brick?
- A photo of you with Bosco is optional but nice.
- And, for extra credit, a photo of you with a beer from Bosco's tap in the bar across the street gives you many style points!
