Welcome the Cape Perpetua Overlook, the highest viewpoint accessible by car on the Oregon coast. They say on a clear day you can see 70 miles of the Oregon central coast line, and 40 miles out to see, from this location. You can take the 2 mile hike up from the Cape Perpetua visitor center, or you can drive to within .3 mile of the location and take a short family friendly walk. Either way the views from up here are something special. Note: There is a day use fee required from either starting location. At the time of placement this fee is $5
To claim a find on this cache you must post a picture of you with your cache locating device in hand, logs without a picture will be deleted. If you are part of a group, only one picture is required, but all members must indicate who posted the picture, and as many members as possible should be in the shot.
