This Virtual Cache is located close to an unusual building and isolated set of gates which are the only surviving part of what must once have been an impressive estate. There's lots of history here but most people pass by on busy Ravenswood Avenue without noticing either the building or the gates at all!
The posted location takes you to a tranquil part of Menlo Park ideal for a rest in the shade or a picnic lunch and there's even a duck pond, and ducks, nearby to amuse kids of all ages.
Find the superb onamental fountain and note the last two digits of the year the honoree passed away, look around for the nearest lamp post and note the serial number at its base. Now multiply those two numbers together and submit the result to claim this cache. As always, please don't post pictures or numbers which could reveal the answers in your log!
