On April 24, 1995, a 55-ton boulder split from the bluffs and rolled down a hill , crashing into the house of Maxine and Dwight Anderson, just moments after Maxine left the kitchen. Today, that house still stands, as does the boulder, right where it came to rest. The insurance company considered the house a total loss, but a local real estate agent and investor bought it and turned it into a strange little roadside attraction and museum.
You can drive right up the driveway and park there. The door is unlocked, and you can walk right in. The owner requests an optional donation of $2 to go inside, but entering the house will not be required to fulfill the requirements of this Geocache. I would, however, highly recommend it, as it will add a lot to your experience.
To claim this Geocache, you will find 3 symbols on the door knocker to the right of the main entrance. You must send me an email naming those 3 symbols.
